Website In A Weekend
Website In A Weekend started as a set of tutorial pages taking a customer from having no website at all, to a fully functioning, Wordpress-driven website immediately ready for his or her small business.
After several months of creating content, launching Website In A Weekend was postponed indefinitely to better understand both the market for such a product, and to understand how best to market the courseware as a product.
The market is clearly present, and large enough to attract the attention of many well-established bloggers over the last year, including Leo Babuata, Chris Brogan, Yaro Starak and Darren Rowse. That these top bloggers have gotten into this market over the last year proves the market need. However, their offerings significantly overlap Website In A Weekend’s original vision.
Also, at the very low end, it’s possible to find small businesses (usually “solopreneurs”) whole will provide WordPress installation services in exchange for a hosting affiliate purchase. That is, essentially for free.
Website In A Weekend’s original vision has been squeezed from both the high end and the low end.
Currently, Website In A Weekend is being constructed as a platform to establish credibility and trust for launching more specialized products and consulting services.
